Hey hey hi! Welcome to the new and improved Riotous Records website! We're still working out a few kinks, but please have a look around at all the new goodies we've got here for you! Make sure and stop by our fancy new store too, we're sure you're going to like what you find there. And while you're at it, we'd love you forever if you'd drop us a line and let us know what you think....good, bad, or otherwise, and especially if you find something wrong that we may have missed.
Now, on to the real news! If you haven't been following us on Facebook, what the heck are you waiting for!?! Do it already! Please? If you had been following us, you'd have seen that Riotous Records co-founder Dave has now become an official member of The Honky Punks. They've all been in the studio together working on the upcoming album Pig Sick, which is slated for release sometime later this year, and they've been getting along so well, that The Rev and Ninja asked him to be a part of the lineup. And he's been having so much fun hangin with those 2 boys, of course he said yes!
But Dave wants everyone out there to know that he's not putting anything else on hold. Being a member of The Honky Punks will not interfere with any of his other projects, including (not a band name, just fyi), his collaborative project with Alluvia. Those 2 crazy kids are still hard at work on that one. We're hoping to see that finished project, rumored to be titled "I'm high, gonna be doing this for a while", sometime before the end of 2010. Check out that official Facebook page for a sneek peak! They've posted the title track off that album for the whole world to hear! Go, give it a listen, let em know what ya think!
