While the real identity of DJ Dirty So -n- So remains a mystery to all but his closest friends and colleagues, his talents are all but mysterious. He got his start as an engineer in a recording studio, and creating artwork for other bands and artists. One fateful day, he met Dave Hyde in a studio, and the two hit it off. Dirty was always into electronic music, but it was Dave who introduced him to the idea of creating his own electronic noise. The two began to work together, with Dirty creating music and Dave destroying it. This sparked something in the DJ's heart, and the rest is pretty much history.

DJ Dirty So -n- So currently has 3 full length solo albums and an EP under his belt, as well as countless unreleased material, collaborations with a wide variety of artists, and new recordings still to come. Dirty recently took up trying to play a real drum kit for Dave when they started the band Jesus Fucking Christ & the God Damn It’s. He also works as an artist and photographer for bands in his spare time. And yes, he’s gay.
